Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £32,500-£36,000 depending on experience, plus comms
THE ROLE
We are actively seeking a dynamic and creative self-starter to spearhead the development and execution of our clients social media strategy.
The successful candidate will contribute to their growth by understanding the nuances of their audience, setting clear objectives and creating compelling, platform-specific content.
Your ideas for daily social content will epitomise tone and message. You must lead from the front, ideate and bring the team with you. Your ability to enthuse and manage a team will be mission critical.
As a key team member, you'll lead the daily production of engaging video content, ensuring it aligns with trending news and resonates with their audience. You will be expected to leverage strong writing and editorial skills in order to create highly engaging and shareable content.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Developing and leading the social strategy across all platforms, with a particular focus on organically growing social channels.
- Create engaging, cutting-edge social content that their audience will want to share.
- Manage all social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, & LinkedIn.
- Foster an active and engaged social media community by interacting with their audience, responding to comments and messages.
- Stay Updated with Trends: Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, tools.
- Work with show sponsors on social collaborations and branded posts.
- Work with their talent to leverage their audiences on their social platforms.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop engaging, relevant content alongside their shows.
- Utilise platform data to gather insights and develop learnings and identified opportunities.
- Social content production and editing experience is an advantage.
About you:
- Opportunity to develop a team. 4 years minimum experience in a social media agency or within the social media team in a similar content-driven media brand.
- Proven ability to grow social following and engagement.
- Experience in building and implementing social media strategies for different content channels.
- Understanding of paid, earned and owned media.
- Understand social analytics and compile reports for the wider team.
- In tune with celebrity UK and US popular culture
- You are passionate about social media, emerging trends and platforms.
- You will have an impeccable grasp of the English language, with accurate spelling, excellent writing skills and be fully focused on attention to detail.
- An experience of working with video and an understanding of shooting and editing for social content will be a distinct advantage.
You must be located within commutable distance of north London. Flexible working, but with the expectation you will be at the Office during key times in order to capture content as well as to develop a strong working relationship with the team and the presenting talent.
