THE POSITION:
The European Paid Social & PPC executive is accountable for the development, implementation, and optimisation of the European Paid strategy across our core markets.
You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class paid campaigns (social, search, display, video) and strategies across all EU campaigns and launches, and must be highly experienced in developing and managing successful paid campaigns across key platforms (Meta / Google / Bing / LinkedIn / X / TikTok etc), targeting users with timely and effective advertising. You’ll work across a mix of project types – from retail to software, demand gen, brand, and e-commerce – so must have experience developing plans that meet various objectives.
You’ll drive performance across key EU markets and product categories to deliver commercial results and agreed KPIs. We are looking for you to bring creativity, best practices, and the latest thinking to the business for testing, implementation and rollout. You should have a growth mindset, always at the forefront of the latest trends, platforms, and techniques to apply to your work at Roland.
Creative yet data-driven, you’ll have an analytical mind, constantly striving for the best ROAS, and driving high Quality and Relevance scores by continually pushing benchmarks and KPIs. You’ll live and breathe A/B and multi-variate testing to help achieve high conversion rates and to ensure our campaigns stay fresh and effective. You’ll focus on data segmentation, analytics, and optimisation to ensure we fulfil strategic objectives.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of our products, brand, and marketing initiatives, as well as our key competitors and markets. You’ll therefore need a passion for music, as well as all things digital.
You must be a motivated self-starter and problem-solver, who always takes initiative, and has a keenness to expand your knowledge and skills. You must be incredibly organised with strong attention to detail to manage multiple campaigns at once to a high standard.
This is a 360 role that requires a high level of analysis in order to build strong campaigns based on solid insights, always striving to improve your work.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Plan, develop, and implement outstanding paid campaigns for the campaign and launch teams, tracking performance and using data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns to ensure positive delivery against KPIs.
- Formulate campaign strategy, researching keywords, analysing competitors, and continually testing and optimising.
- Perform daily management of all paid campaigns across all platforms – with an emphasis on Google Ads and Meta. This includes maintaining and monitoring keyword bids, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality and relevance scores, and all top-level account and campaign metrics.
- Proactive, continual optimisation of overall account and platform performance alongside campaigns. Ensure all accounts are structured optimally and adhere to agreed best practice in terms of account hygiene. Perform 6-month account performance reviews.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimise account spend and performance based on insight data.
- Design and develop reporting templated within Google Data Studio, whilst working to enhance existing reporting capability within REG.
- Experience in account configuration, tracking and tagging within Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook pixel, and so on.
- Aid local teams in upskilling and support campaigns created within our channel marketing team, ensuring a solid quality of work across all teams.
- Channel testing and optimisation, supporting the design and implementation of optimisation plans that ensure performance goals are met. This includes landing page optimisation.
- Co-ordinate with the wider marketing and creative teams regarding implementation of A/B, split, and multivariate testing across all accounts.
- Build strong relationships with European Production, Marketing and Product teams – as well as your global counterparts.
- Own the regular reporting and analysis of all Paid Campaigns with appropriate telemetry and metrics, and demonstrate the ability to present results and insights to various stakeholders.
- Research and develop keyword strategies, bidding strategies, and discover new relevant placements and platforms to maximize ROAS and Conversion Value.
- Write, test, and optimize effective Ad copy in line with company branding.
- Stay informed on the latest search engine/technology trends and changes that can impact Marketing goals.
- Utilise various tools such as Google products and services (Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console), Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge etc to create a data-driven approach to campaign creation, targeting and optimization.
- Develop, build and maintain European Remarketing and Custom Audience Lists.
- Assist with Amazon campaign planning, building, and optimization on an ad-hoc basis.
- Be the point of contact for any agency we may retain, to provide feedback on their campaigns.
