- Title - Marketing Director
Location - London/ WFH
Salary - Base salary up to £90,000 p.a with additional comms and benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and executing the annual marketing plan to achieve conference and expo delegate targets
- Designing the three year marketing strategy to achieve our scale-up ambitions
- Grow digital audience database and increase user engagement
- Playing key role in the execution of the strategy
- Managing, coaching, and developing the cross-functional marketing team
- Developing the brand and messaging strategy, ensuring its distinctive, compelling and exciting
- Ensuring the delivery and execution of the multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Managing key external suppliers
- Setting and reporting against all marketing KPIs – including visitor acquisition, delegate sales and exhibitor lead generation
- Working closely with senior stakeholders in the business
- Conducting regular needs-based research to inform content and product development
- Setting and managing the annual marketing budget
- Monthly reporting to the Board
Desired skills and experience:
- Audience/customer focused, strategic thinker with at least 5 years’ experience leading a marketing function in B2B mid to large scale events
- A digital thinker with an exceptional understanding of MarTech
- Strong know-how on building marketing solutions revenue streams and digital business models
- A drive for data and actionable metrics
- Expertise across all tactical marketing elements with a deep understanding of how results are delivered across multiple channels, particularly with digital marketing techniques
- Experience of optimising and modelling data to support marketing activity effectively
- Strong leadership with the ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively with all departments responsible for driving revenue growth
- Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally
