Description
Title - Marketing Director
Location - London/ WFH
Salary - Base salary up to £90,000 p.a with additional comms and benefits. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Creating and executing the annual marketing plan to achieve conference and expo delegate targets 
  • Designing the three year marketing strategy to achieve our scale-up ambitions
  • Grow digital audience database and increase user engagement
  • Playing key role in the execution of the strategy
  • Managing, coaching, and developing the cross-functional marketing team
  • Developing the brand and messaging strategy, ensuring its distinctive, compelling and exciting
  • Ensuring the delivery and execution of the multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Managing key external suppliers
  • Setting and reporting against all marketing KPIs – including visitor acquisition, delegate sales and exhibitor lead generation
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders in the business
  • Conducting regular needs-based research to inform content and product development
  • Setting and managing the annual marketing budget
  • Monthly reporting to the Board  
 
Desired skills and experience:
 
  • Audience/customer focused, strategic thinker with at least 5 years’ experience leading a marketing function in B2B mid to large scale events
  • A digital thinker with an exceptional understanding of MarTech
  • Strong know-how on building marketing solutions revenue streams and digital business models
  • A drive for data and actionable metrics
  • Expertise across all tactical marketing elements with a deep understanding of how results are delivered across multiple channels, particularly with digital marketing techniques
  • Experience of optimising and modelling data to support marketing activity effectively
  • Strong leadership with the ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively with all departments responsible for driving revenue growth
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally
