- Title –Event Marketing Manager
Salary –Up to £50,000, p. a.
Location –London / WFH
New Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class event
marketing strategy, through new, innovative, and data-driven ways to reach attendance and revenue targets. A key part of this role is to build consensus and alignment among a diverse team across multiple departments with multiple agendas.
This role will oversee the existing Event marketing team and will be supported by the wider marketing team ncluding content, CRM, social, brand & comms.
Responsibilities:
●Responsible for creating an event marketing strategy for the organisation, which
includes an
●overarching external comms plan, annual objectives, quarterly comms and
messaging, KPIs and reporting tracker, including but not limited to:
○Individual event campaigns (reporting on agreed KPIs and metrics for each)
○Revenue and budget tracking against targets
○Weekly reporting to management against agreed OKRs and KPIs
○Building and managing relationships cross-functionally, in particular with our
Partnerships, Event Content Production & Event Operations teams
○Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities
of competitors, adjusting the event marketing plan if necessary and
communicated these trends internally
●Responsible for events marketing budget, ensuring ROI and accurate spend
management across all campaigns and channels
●Responsible for supporting the sales teams with collateral, data, research and
insights
●Responsible for interacting with peers at member and sponsor companies, to offer
co-marketing support for speaking, sponsorship and partnership opportunities
Requirements:
●Experience leading events for a high-growth B2B company or startup
●Experience of successfully managing financial targets and budgets
●Experience of engaging with and managing multiple senior stakeholders
●Experience of time management and task prioritization to meet deadlines
●Demonstrate effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
●Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail across all tasks and projects
●Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of people, in
writing and face to face, both internally and externally
●Ability to obtain, analyze and present information effectively, both in written and oral
formats.

●Have a genuine passion for events and an understanding for how they drive
commercial and brand growth
